London with Londoners review
We took the Weavers Tour, exploring the rich history of the silk industry around Spitalfields. Our guide, Stefano, was both likeable and very knowledgeable about the subject. The most remarkable aspect of the tour for me, as a born and raised Londoner, was seeing for the first time a host of details of Hugenot and Jewish life in the East End. Thank you Stefano!
A professional tour guide who has pioneered in his home country Italy alternative tourism itineraries, Stefano now works in London creating experiences that connect responsible tourists to locals involved in social and heritage projects.
Philosopher, writer, performer, Federico studied in London for his PHD and currently teaches Philosophy and History in Milan (Italy). He has published philosophical essays and wrote as well as brought to the stage the play "Viaggio in Europa" inspired by Eliot's poem The Waste Land.
