Following the government roadmap out of lockdown, the ‘stay at home’ rule ends on 29 March and guided tours can restart from Monday 12 April.
London with Londoners public tours are therefore restarting after this date limiting the size of the group to a maximum of 10 participants (please be aware that every household is reminded to keep a 1m plus distance from other households for the whole duration of the tour).
To help keep “London with Londoners” participants, guides and other collaborators as safe as possible we have developed the following Covid-19 Policy.
We have also just obtained the "We're Good To Go" certificate as part of the programme designed by VisitEngland to give reassurance to visitors that our business has a clear processes in place and is following industry and government guidance.
Adherence to the guidance provided by the relevant health authorities is maintained at all times to ensure that experiences and tours comply with the most recent official recommendations.
Itineraries and locations are regularly risk assessed to make sure that any tour and experience can be conducted in the safest possible way.
Guides may wear personal protection equipment such as masks or visors to further reduce the chance of droplet dissemination and avoid shaking hands and making any other physical contact with the participants and, when speaking, maintain the recommended social distancing.
Participants are expected to keep government recommended social distancing (at the moment 1m plus) for the duration of the experience or tour at all times.
Participants developing symptoms of Covid-19 (high temperature, persistent cough, loss of taste or smell) are not expected to join the group. Their experience or tour is transferred to another date or fully refunded.
Participants that, in the guide's opinion, show any symptoms of Covid-19 may be asked at any time to leave the experience or tour to minimise risks for the rest of the group.
Participants may be contacted at any time for the cancellation of their experience or tour if the guide develops symptoms of Covid-19.
